Heceta Head Lighthouse. Florence, Oregon
The Heceta Head Lighthouse is one of the most photographed on the Oregon coast. The 56-foot tower was built in the late 19th century and its automated beacon, seen 21 miles from land, is rated as the strongest light on the Oregon coast. On our visit it was a gray, blustery day, but still: what a gorgeous sight!
